Let’s face it. I’m not on Pandora to get deals on gardening supplies, but I like the interplay of the “thumbs up” metaphor: “liking” a song, and the relation to a ‘green thumb’ service.
The execution is a bit annoying (the entire page’s background flashed, and then an the ad displayed larger than the radio itself), but there’s a decisive intent on how & when the ads display that earns my respect.
